AiHud Notation Copilot · MuseScore 4 plugin

Edit your score in plain English

Type what you want changed, like “double the flute in violin I an octave lower, bars 1-8”. AiHud applies exactly that change and nothing else, and asks when something is unclear.

Free: 20 applied edits a month. No card needed. We email you a copy of the key.

What it does

“transpose the flute up a step in bars 5-8”
“add legato slurs to the flute over bars 9-12”
“double the flute melody in the strings an octave lower, bars 1-8”

The edited score opens as a new tab, so your original is never touched. Follow-up requests build on the last result. If a request is vague (“make the bridge more legato”), Copilot asks which bars or parts you mean and offers one-click options.

Install

  1. Download NotationCopilot.qml
  2. Create a folder NotationCopilot inside Documents/MuseScore4/Plugins/ and put the file in it.
  3. Restart MuseScore 4. Go to Home → Plugins and enable Notation Copilot.
  4. Open a score, then Plugins → Composing/arranging tools → Notation Copilot.
  5. Paste your key (it starts with nc_live_) into the chat box and press Enter. The plugin remembers it.

Works with MuseScore Studio 4.x on Windows, macOS and Linux. Your score is sent to AiHud only to make the edit and is not stored.
